WHO WE ARE, WHY WE ARE HERE, WHO WE ARE FOR
©těpán Trochta`s Salesian Centre in Teplice Prosetice is a school establishment which is financially affordable and open for everybody who want to spend their free time meaningfully. Even though it is a Catholic establishment we welcome anybody from any or no denomination. The aim of our activities is for children who are not envolved in any organisation or establishment. We are primarily open to the socially weak classes (From Romany families and families of immigrants, children aged between 6 and 15 attend the centre).
The tradition of the Salesian´s work started in 1945 in the Teplice region and the Salesian´s centre for youth was opened in 1990 and the present ©těpán Trochta`s Salesian Centre in Teplice Prosetice has been in the present building since 1999.
The aim of all who are involved within the centre, is to develop education and the broadening the minds of young people. All is being done in the Salesian´s way’s, which are based on Catholic values to provide for children and youngsters, meaningful and safe free time activities, and by these to prevent primary criminal acts and drug addition. There is a wide choice of programmes and activities provided by youth workers, Romany assistants and volunteers.
We are open daily except Wednesdays from 12.30 to 18.00.
Our vision:
An honest citizen = a good man
